What is CocoDay's Bazaar of Fierce Finds in Old Town Keller?
CocoDay's Bazaar of Fierce Finds is an independent vintage and resale boutique at 138 Olive St in Old Town Keller. It's owned by husband-and-wife team Cody and Dayla. The shop carries vintage fashion, accessories, jewelry, boots, collectibles, and art. Everything in it is 100% sourced by the owners, with no donations and no consignment, and it's organized by song titles instead of by clothing type.

Old Town Keller keeps surprising me.
Every time I think I know every storefront on Olive Street, I find another small business with a real point of view. This one has more personality per square foot than almost anywhere I've been.
It's called CocoDay's Bazaar of Fierce Finds, and trust me, it's not your average resale shop.
This is Episode 6 of my Hidden Gems: Keller, TX series, and it's a two-parter. Part 1 is the tour above. Part 2 picks up from there.
Who's Behind the Shop (and Where the Name Comes From)
CocoDay's is run by Cody and Dayla, a husband-and-wife team and old friends of mine. When Cody first told me they were opening a shop, I had no idea what I was in for.
The name is simple once you hear it. "CocoDay" is Cody + Dayla, the nickname their friends have used for years. As Cody puts it, it makes their names easy to remember and keeps them accountable for everything that goes on the shelves.
They split the work in a way that clearly works for them:
- Cody is the treasure hunter. He digs through garage sales, estate sales, thrift stores, and private collections for unusual pieces.
- Dayla is the curator. She takes those finds and turns them into a fun, eclectic boutique that's easy to shop.

A Resale Shop Organized by Song Title
This is the detail that made me stop in my tracks.
Most resale stores sort things the obvious way: shoes here, boots there, tops on this rack. CocoDay's sorts the store into song-title sections, so each corner has its own vibe.
A few you'll walk through:
- "Teenage Dirtbag." Concert shirts, hoodies, a section for anything black, and graphic tees. It's the classic rocker look. I pulled a vintage TLC shirt off the rack, and if you know, you know.
- "Uptown Funk." Going-out pieces and statement wear: sequins, glitter, and the outfit you need for a cruise, New Year's Eve, or a night out.
- European boots and shoes. Spiked loafers, sequined shoes, and other styles you won't easily find in a mall. Cody has already converted the European sizes to US sizes, so you aren't left wondering what a 64 is.
It sounds chaotic on paper. In person it works, because you shop by mood instead of by category.

The jewelry counter and the $5 spinner
There's a full jewelry counter with rings, brooches, and designer sunglasses.
My favorite small detail is that any sunglasses that aren't a premium designer brand go on a $5 spinner rack. That's an easy reason to stop in on the way to lunch.

How Cody Sources Everything (No Donations, No Consignment)
The business model is what separates CocoDay's from a typical thrift store.
They don't take donations and don't do consignment. Every item is sourced by the owners. That means Cody has to get creative about where he looks:
- Estate sales when a good one comes up
- Private collections that people have built over the years
- International shopping. When Cody's traveling for work, even in London with five spare minutes, he goes where the locals shop. He compares Europe's discount and "Euro bin" stores to dollar stores here, except the finds are very different.
Above all, he's picky about what makes it onto the floor. That's why the store feels curated instead of crowded.

Can't find what you want? Put Cody to work
According to their website, if you're hunting for something specific, you can ask Cody to look for it.
That's a personal shopping service with a treasure hunter attached, and it's my kind of shopping.
Second-life finds, locally curated
I also love that these pieces get a second life instead of going to a landfill. Vintage and resale shopping is one of the easiest ways to buy something unique and keep usable goods in circulation at the same time.

Why I Keep Making Hidden Gems Videos
I've sold homes in Keller and the surrounding cities for 16 years. The question I hear most from people relocating or moving up isn't really about square footage. It's "What's it actually like around here?"
Listing photos can't answer that. Driving down Olive Street on a Saturday and walking into a shop like CocoDay's can.
When I work with buyers new to North Texas, I put together a short list of local spots like this alongside the homes we're touring. That way you're judging an area on drive times, amenities, and the places you'd actually go, not just the house. If you've already found your place here, these videos are a nudge to keep spending locally.
If you're thinking about a move to Keller or nearby, start by seeing what's available. Search current homes for sale across Keller, Southlake, Roanoke, and the Alliance corridor. When something catches your eye, I'll help you get to know the area around it, Olive Street included.
